“Portrait of a Disappearing Woman” is the story of a 59-year-old fishmonger, Sabine, who decides to leave her fish market and venture into the world outside her countryside village. Her quickest means of escape is the school bus that takes her to the Museum of Fine Arts in Ghent, where a museum audioguide helps her find a sigh of relief she was unknowingly seeking.
